WordPress.org Favorite Plugins Folder
It would be great if we can just fav a particular plugin in our account folder (download links included) and be notified when there is an update (similar to our plugins folder in our WP blogs). Not all of the plugins that interest me gets installed. Some I put on hold until the kinks or incompatibilities are addressed. BUT I am still interested and I would like to know when its finally more stable. I find it difficult to keep on switching/remembering what plugins interest me, what I haven't installed, what I am waiting to stabilize, etc. Having this in wordpress.org would be great.
Nice idea. It would make easy to track plugins we are interested on. AS you, some times I'm interested on a plugin that, perhaps, was not updated to run in latest WP version. Because it is not compatible, I have it uninstalled but I'm interested to know when the plugin comes updated.
Several times I've read about plugins a webmaster uses and thought, "I'll have to check that out" or been at a client site trying to remember the name of a plugin that's needed to solve a problem.
In my head, this would be sort of like iusethis.com but for plugins. Great idea!
