Currently I have am editor for my site, and I would like to be able to track changes a compare versions. I am not saying that each time you click a save, a version must be saved, but it would be nice to the option of marking the current version to keep, so you can diff it when in the editing process.

This is important for websites using wordpress as a CMS, especially when having multiple users around. It is easy to make a mistake and delete a bunch of text, or useful to see what changes another person has made.

    Definitely want this.

This seems to be the same idea:

Check out Audit Trail at http://urbangiraffe.com/plugins/audit-trail/
I am amazed how perfectly this plugin works. I was a little surprised to not find it listed here.

Drupal has a really good implementation of this. I would love to see it in WordPress. I will check out that plugin though.

This idea ('Stable versions' of post revisions) would make post revisions more useful. Vote it up if you agree.
