Using Font from Theme's CSS in HTML editor

Something that is a simple frustration is tying something into the HTML editor, positioning things in just the right place and then finding that the font family, style and size are visually different from the backend to the frontend. When we type in the HTML editor, could we not have that editor import the font-family from the current theme's css file?

I agree, I would like to see the styles used in the theme css shown in the WYSIWYG/html views.

This is currently possible and depends on the theme. It can include stylesheet for the visual editor that sets some basic elements like font face, image borders and padding, some elements margins, etc. However very few themes do that (if any).

There are some plugins that import the whole style.css file for the current theme but that doesn't always work well.
