    Is there one particular theme that you would recommend over another - for usability, asthetics...I don't really care the reason, but there are always so many to sift through...

    people are saying use the author template for posts and comments. Is this correct for comments too or are posting a users comments on their profile page out of the question? If it is possible anyone want to give more insight into how this is done

    Getting comments and posts listed on an author template is possible, but not at all elegant. At the very best, you have to query and display them separately, and even that is a pretty complex process.

    What I reaaaaally want is a way to query for comments AND posts at the same time, per specific user (aka an activity stream). Is there any way, in a single return, to get ALL content a user has posted on the site?

    There should be!
