"Uploaded to this post" as default view

I'd like the "Uploaded to this post" view in the new media manager to be the default one. It's really annoying to have to select it every time I open the media manager.

Someone opened the following ticket, got accepted for 3.6, but at the last minute got moved for a future release. Bummer.

Great idea. I've added this as an option to the Page Management plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/page-management.

I use lots of images. I agree, it's a pain to always land on the full media library when I just want to edit the photos on the individual post!

This one is a no brainer and should definitely be implemented. Same scenario was irritating me earlier tonight.

Greatly, greatly want this feature. I've implemented at least a dozen sites that would benefit from it.

Same here, when you have a lot of images It's frustrating to deal with it.

For the record I've been using vicky's patch and it works. Not sure about the github though.

Sure It can be fixed this way but It would be awesome to have it come as default. :)

So now, if WordPress doesn't add this function to the core, maybe we have to use plugin instead !
