Turn Posts to Pages (vice versa)

I know I can jump into my database and modify the post attribute to page, but I've had to do this on more than a number of occasions. Seems like a pretty simple mod.

turning pages into posts and vice versa is something beyond useful, its essential..topics originally posted sometimes become central to the blog so they migrate to become pages.

pages on some occasion must be able to go back to posts because the concept of the blog might have changed and new directions [set in pages] are introduced as openers. This allows the blogger more options to direct the philosophy and artistic direction of his blog. Pages and posts interchangeability gives bloggers [i'd like to use "wordpressers" here..] total control in terms of what they wish to emphasize or focus on, "on the fly".

I vote strongly to have this concept applied in v2.2.

    Thanks guys!

I have yet to upgrade to 2.2 out of laziness, but was this feature implemented? I've been needing this one for a while!

I also think this is a great idea - as things evolve - one reconsiders structure. And it's in keeping with WordPress's general flexibility.

I think it's a great idea, and something people would probably use a lot.

My plugin, just recently updated, will convert your pages to posts and vice versa: p2pConverter. You can learn more about it at http://www.briandgoad.com/blog.

    Hope this helps!
