    one of best features ...in my view . information about incoming link is very useful because some link of bad site or spam site harm your creation.

    I get most of the pingbacks from spammed websites who copied my content :(

  5. This is a great feature if we have active content on our websites which is curated to most of the curated websites. To let us know what's copied and where

    There are many other ways to see who has linked to you. I agree with those who say no to this idea because of spammers. Even if you can turn it off a lot of people won't know how to do this.

  7. You can disable pingbacks easily in: Settings>Discussion>Default article settings ;

    You can even disable them on specific articles.

    So I guess It's not a big deal.

    If you want you can also track incoming links through google analytics, or any other plugin. :)

  8. i guess it would be a open dorrs for bots to ping your site and maybe overcharge the server. I dont think its a good idea...
