goodnessme Why is torrent sharing limited to big indexing sites?
Sharing torrents across personal blogs seems like a good idea to me - it would allow one to share / distribute the things they like with friends who have common interests.
For example, WordPress users could syndicate new wordpress releases as torrents and people blogging about open source projects could share their latest releases easier.
At the end of the day, I hope it would help the proliferation of peer to peer networking and free speech, but in a more social context.
I have found an example of code that could be used to develop a plugin at GluTorrent
It seems to allow reading and editing of torrent files. Check out the source code here PHPBencode
