Structured Themes

In my theme folder I have several other folders, and about 20 php files, and 8 JS files!
I noticed in 2.5 that the stylesheets we're now separated, it would be nice if you did the same for JS files too, and allowed them to be edited in the theme-editor, not only that but it would be nice to allow some sort of structure instead of just a mass of files in a list, mebbe a tree like list where you can open and close lists of files, such as PHP, JS, and CSS, but also folders, say you have 3-4 php files for a section of ur site and would like them to be together in the same folder.

Would make life 10 times easier. x

How about a file viewer attached to the theme editor. That way you can structure your theme however you want and it will reflect in the viewer...

It would also be cool if you could create files within the theme-editor, so say type in a filename in a box, and then select file types from a drop down list. x

I structure my themes in folders too. It just makes sense when you have a massive amount of different files. I like structure and order.

However, my users would sometimes like to edit a few things from their admin panel instead of using FTP to make minor changes.

I think some kind of tree view as mentioned above or ability to move inside of folders within the theme would be nice.
