SQL panel for custom and commonly-used sql statements (batch processing)

While on #wordpress, twidget mentioned that it would be nice if WordPress had functionality that would allow you to perform batch operations on posts.

<twidget> I wish there was a way to batch edit posts
    <garrett__> twidget: howso?
<twidget> mark all as pending review?

To the best of our knowledge, there's no way to do this in WordPress. It seems reasonable to assume, then, that it might be useful if WordPress had an SQL panel with which the user could store commonly-used SQL commands that they could perform with the click of a button.

Furthermore, there could be a community-built archive of SQL commands which could be polled by WordPress and be added to the SQL commands panel in much the same way that Presentation widgets are added. A listing would be generated upon installing the panel, and no updates would be made to the listing unless the user specifically updated their listing.

WordPress these days has quite a few batch editing options. Thank goodness!
