Show status "update notification possible?" for plugins

The new feature "update notification for plugins" in WP2.3 is great - but not really very usable: in your plugin-list you can´t differ plugins hosted on wordpress.org and therefore are checked automatically for updates and those plugins who are hosted somewhere else. This makes it necessary to check all plugins manually for updates (I don´t remember the host-status of all my 20+ plugins).

Suggested solution: add a column with a checkbox titled "hosted on wordpress.org" or "update notification possible?" to indicate which plugins you still need to check manually for updates.

From a plugin developer's perspective this isn't easy to do because of how the update notification works. WP asks for updates for all plugins and lets api.wordpress.org figure out which of those can receive update notifications.
