I really like the new Gallery feature in WordPress 2.5. One thing I'd like to see added in the future is a preview of pdf documents or any other media (like videos) which can be uploaded to WordPress.
Using something like lightview it would lead to a really nice browsing experience!

MemberI've been searching for something to realize this but it seems to be possible only by using external software like ImageMagick.
If someone knows of a good way to convert a pdf file into an image using only php scripts, I would write a plugin at once or even prepare a patch for WordPress...Posted: 5 years ago # -
