If the Widgets List was hosted on a seperate page to the plugins it would make the plugins page a whole lot cleaner and easier to manage especially on a blog that has alot of both

Yeah, I though maybe like under the plugins tab that there would be 2 links plugins and widgets. I posted about it but nothing happened.

We would definitely second this one. While we try to keep the number of plugins low (and subsequently the scroll on the admin/plugins page smaller) it tends to be tough when there are so many good plugs to use to get the most for the site.
Add to the plugins the list of widgets that one can plugin and that page scrolls for miles and miles, all told.

I think you're talking about the wordpress.com service. This forum is for ideas for improving the WordPress software available at wordpress.org .

    Well, I'm not sure, but I was talking about WordPress 2.1 (wordpress.org). I don't use wordpress.com.
