See a plugins source code from within the WP plugin directory

    I find myself downloading plugins all the time, just to have a look at how a plugin performs a task or function. I would personally find it very useful to be able to see a plugins source code via the site without needing to download it and unzip it. Like the way Google code project hosting handles scripts or the WordPress trac for that matter.

    +1 I find myself doing just that. It would be better even if there is a link to the svn page of the plugin for ease.

    @ModDish We are talking about checking the code from plugin pages on WP.org and not from a WP install.

    If you click development log and then the latest revision you can access the trunk.
