WordPress › WordPress Ideas — Put Next>> and <<Previous Links in gallery

The new WP 2.5 gallery is wonderful but I want to add another idea to it which will make it more wonderful.

every time you view an image on the gallery you have to come back to the original post to view the next image, this is very inconvenient if you are viewing a photo blog with so many images on one single gallery, So it would be really useful to have links to view previous and next images without coming back to the original post, this will also save a lot of time whist reading posts.

so I humbly ask the WordPress team or any plug in developers to either incorporate this idea into WordPress or make a plug in (first suggested by GaMerZ)

Ok I have found a solution to this problem, a plugin has been made by a plugin developer called Justin Tadlock. It's called Cleaner WordPress Gallery plugin which i was quick to add into my blog and I should say its simply stunning! works perfectly with slimbox and lightbox. Only worry that I have is that wordpress.com users cannot implement it in their blog. :(
