Please fix publish date so it may be changed!!!
After updating 2.5 to 2.5.1 and 2.5.2, it is the first thing I check in hope because it holds my sites together. I still have to edit the database 'by hand'.
The second most welcome simple change would be to put categories back to the right of the edit area. This is far better usage than Post Status (which could be reduced to a three-way toggle icon).

You just need to click 'edit' under 'Publish Status' (near 'publish immediately'). Or are you talking about something else?

I have the same problem. Once a post is published, you can't change the date/time again.
This is keeping me from upgrading at least 3 sites to 2.5. Pretty please make it work the way it did in 2.3?
(And categories back to the right of the edit area would also be cool)

You can change it on the right. Under 'Publish Status' it says:
> Publish on April 10, 2008 at 12:47 pm Edit
Clicking edit lets you edit the time and date.

I am trying to use the Edit feature - I edit the time but this is ignored and the post just gets saved at the original time.
This problem has started today - I've been using 2.5 for a few days now without a problem.
