Sometimes we have some custom fields that we use commonly or even in all posts like "thumbnail path", "source of article" ,...etc.
I believe it would be great to add a feature to define "Permanent custom field" which to be displayed before custom fields, something like a text-box with a label similar to "Title" field or "Excerpt" field.

I mean, User should have the ability to deign the add new post page, by having the ability to add new fields exactly similar to title field.
The reason is, sometime we need some custom field that is used frequently and sometime even always, so having them on "add new post page" as a unique entity lead to not forgetting to give them value.
For Examples, If your website need a thumbnail for every post, you should define a custom field that is used with every post, if you have the field under title field make it more easier.

In 3.0, custom post types and custom taxonomies might address your needs better than custom fields.
