permalink settings

    Here is a thing I keep thinking every time I set up a new blog, when I get to permalink settings there are only 4 settings available
    maybe it could be possible to add a structure like /%postname%/ into these settings without having to add it to custom structure, I read all the time on the internet that people change the custom settings all the time i know it is only a small thing but if some more structures where added to WordPress permalinks then it would make life easier

    There's a reason this isn't one of the available settings you see. Read:
    http://ottopress.com/2010/category-in-permalinks-considered-harmful

    The settings shown are examples of good, solid permalink structures that won't bog down your site.

    Wow I see I have much to learn. I thought it was better to have key words in the permalink setting which makes it more seo friendly. I realize codes are needed to breakdown everything. The %/postname%/ is something I just have to put myself into.

    A small query.. as per SEO Friendly URL which should be taken as seperator "/" or "-".
