next_posts_link, previous_posts_link

    Okay, I'm having a little issue here. For my theme, I'm using:

    <div class="pages">

      <li class="right"><?php next_posts_link('Next Page') ?> <li class="left"><?php previous_posts_link('Previous Page') ?>
    </div>

    Now what this is doing, with my CSS, is it falls apart if there's no next_posts_link or previous_posts_link that's outputted. Now, if I try using an if statement, I get multiples of the next_posts_link and previous_posts_link due to the fact that these are echoed within the function. How come these functions don't just return? ;_;

    Meh, Now I'm being told my post is too old. WTF is with that? Why can't I edit it?

    <div class="pages">
    	<ul>
    		<li class="right"><?php next_posts_link('Next Page') ?></li>
    		<li class="left"><?php previous_posts_link('Previous Page') ?></li>
    	</ul>
    </div>

    Been trying to fix the output of my code here, for some reason it was eating away my ul and li. O_o

    http://wordpress.org/support would be a FAR better place to seek support.
