Make images and galleries custom post types

    Please make images and galleries custom post types so that they can have their own meta data like categories, tags, description, location, etc

    Images (all uploaded media actually) is a CPT already.

    Given that 'galleries' are shortcodes? No. You could make a CPT and use [gallery] in them, but they're not posts at all by themselves. Nor will they be.
