I disagree. And for good reason. Recently someone at this blog edited two of my comments to try and make it look like I had given him the personal information of family members of one of my friends.

The two posts by VTV are mine. He altered them to make it look like instead of commenting, that I gave him the FB pages of someone's parents. He did this to try and cause problems between my friend and myself. It has been too long since the posts were made to find a google cache so I cannot prove that he edited the comments. This could of potentially ended my friendship. The guy uses his blog as a platform for ridicule and harassment.
If blog owners can edit anything you say on a blog and there is no trace of the editing then you can make it look like a poster on your blog said anything you want. This is a great tool for trying to smear someone's reputation or cause problems.
