the default TinyMCE image manager is too limited to work with and Per's WP-version of the standalone php image manager you have all options you need plus a sexy interface to show on screenshots.

supports creating thumbnails, easy uploads, different types to put the pic in the post (plain image, thumb with js popup, thumb with link, etc.) and is already integrated in the wp adminpanel

I just installed this and it's amazing. No more pre-sizing in photoshop. This would be a great default feature for WordPress users.

If this plug in allowed comments on pictures, I'd agree wholeheartedly.
    But it doesn't. So I don't.
    One star.

NICE! I'm gonna have a play around with this, good plugin find!!

If something like this could be integrated into the core code it would make so many people happy!

Still can't specify thumbnail size at image upload, so it's one star for me

I have tried this plugin out now - very cool, and almost exactly what I was looking for!

Indeed, if something like this could be integrated into the core it would make many people very happy!!

Like to see something with Imagemanager's functions and features, but better integrated. Don't really care for the current WP upload manager for managing images.

However, the Imagemanager plugin has some flaws, and also not compatible with WP above 2.1.

    I can't work without this.
For a large blog with many users who post, we need SEPERATE directories per user, the ability to CREATE directories, maybe resizeand edit pics on the server. Oh wait, that's what Imagemanager can do. Seriously why is this not in the core. the only thing it's missing is multi file upload and thats been cracked elsewhere.

WordPress file management for posts is a joke, really. I am holding my blog at 2.5 cos imagemanager will not play nice with 2.6 yet. It's that important to a blog with many users.

Defunct - but there is another image manager which allows rotating, cropping, auto-resizing, watermarking, and more.

    In short - it's outstanding!
