What specific issues are you seeing? I just installed WP on IIS 7.5 and other than having to set up the server itself, there were no issues.

Speaking of performance, is there any way WordPress can "auto-cache" rarely changed or accessed posts/pages? Also, how can I make WordPress only load files on pages that need it?

No, you'd need to use a plugin like W3TC or WP Super Cache.

I use the 'WP Super Cache' plugin and am very pleased with this. I'd recommend it especially if you use it in a high traffic website.

    Dear Andreea, Ipstenu,
Super cache is not compatible with windows servers.
Because it is modifying htaccess files, but not modifying web.config files.
    isn't?
