You want to create a specific network that all sites will be about same thing like music, real estate, students.. anything that will be about same things sharing.
Since WordPress officially started to support WpMU as WordPress MultiSite, people will start to create specific networks.
And i believe specific networks need Global terms. Whats your opinion?

The WordPress MultiSite network is not intended for a SHARED network.
Think of it like running your own wordpress.com install - All sites are disconnected content wise.

Yes its not intended now. But why not in future?
WordPress was not intended as MultiSite too but thats core of it now.
