Global Comment Enabling

There is some sort of goofy hitch between my webhost (ipower) and wordpress and every few weeks, comments for all of my posts get turned off. In addition, the "user has to be logged in" and "administrator must approve" are reset, but these two items just require a simple reset.

In order to turn comments back on, I have to go into every. single. post. and turn them back on. There just isn't enough time to re-set comments for every post every time this happens.

It would be SO helpful if there could be just one button that would allow me to turn comments back on for ALL posts. It's a lot easier for software to go through and turn all those flags back on than it is for me to spend hours doing it!

    Thanks!

You can do this via SQL.

http://halfelf.org/2011/wordpress-open-comments-more-selectively/ has some examples of the SQL commands./
