Display install date on plugins list

As a screen option field, I think it would be very useful to have an install date field for the plugins list. This could give a clue often when deciding which plugins to turn off to try to troubleshoot a problem.

    Hi guys,

You asked for it -- you got it!

Right now the plugin is hosted on GitHub. Once it'll be available on the dotorg repo I'll post the link here.

Feel free to download, test and send me your feedback. So don't forget to let me know how it works for you!

    Cheers!

That's great, Maor! I can't wait to try this on the next WP install I do. Thank you so much!

    You're so welcome!

Here's the link to the actual plugin on WordPress.org

You can also search from the "Add New Plugin" page for "Plugin Activation Date".

    Feedback will be much appreciated!

Top notch work on that plugin Maor.. :)

Wouldn't mind seeing similar functionality in core myself.

Another useful information can be the user who installed the plugin, and change the date of install to date of last update (mantaining the installing date on new plugins).

There's actually a plugin I helped build which does exactly that.

The only difference is that it doesn't show the information on the plugins page, but instead on its own, dedicated page.

    Cheers
