Default searching of both posts and pages

    An upgraded search function in WordPress would be nice. I've been putting up a Google custom search box on most of my blogs (make it integrated with the site look and feel).

    I'll stick with this until the searching capabilities are improved in WordPress.

    What about a search by date function? Something like search for all posts that have been posted in the last month, week. etc.

    Page searching has been added in WordPress 2.5! Thanks to everyone for their ideas and their support for this feature.
