Customize WP-Admin & better account types
I think it would be great to have a more customizable wp-admin. I realize it's partially doable now, but if it could be easily done in the future that would be great. Maybe something that the developer can customize for clients to login. Example, i want certain classes of people to login and see submitted job resumes, now when they login I'm using a hack to block all wp-backend stuff so they can only see what i want them too. It's messy and could be much cleaner. Also, custom account types would be great, with set permissions and what not.
Thats a very good idea.
I've seen this WordPress site (http://www.mynewsdesk.com/) that has made a clean solution for users. Very easy to use. However, the editor and also the layout should be easy to use as standard and the admin should have the possibility to activate those buttons and functions which he considers should be activated for a group of users.
Today, there are some plugins hiding some of boxes, labels, etc. which in turn are still accessible if a user knows how the WordPress is designed.
A publish button and a save draft button should be enough in many cases for users.
In my opinion, using a theme is a kind of solution that should be standard for WordPress which should use the the theme also in the back-end when the users are logged in. Also, same look also when logged in.
