Custom Post Types (with fields) and taxonomies

   I am using wordpress since 2008 and i hame created alot of websites with it. In my opinion on next releases should be included possibilities to create custom post types (with fields )and taxonomies and a way to show them on any website or blog. I think that this will be a state of the art feature because then wordpress will be a unique content management system.

   I use Drupal on few of my websites where I need custom post types, fields & taxonomies, but Drupal is little hard to handle/maintain.
   If this feature include in Core WordPress then thousands of Drupal users will migrate to WordPress.

   WordPress already allows custom post types, "custom fields" (meta data), and custom taxonomies.

   If you are looking for a framework to easily put together custom post types for wordpress, check out piklist. Saying that, i think that in the future it belongs in the core, but without a gui interface (that would be way to confusing and potentialy hazerdous for novice users)
