All I want is simple build-in comments on/off switch to page and post attributes when I am creating new post or page. It would save lots of time and it would be easier to manage areas where visitors can post their comments.

I think I know what you're talking about. It used to be there by default (I think, it's been a while since I've had to reset it), but I guess it was changed at some point during 3.2.

When you're in Add New Post or editing Post screen, click on the Screen Options button near the upper right-hand corner. Then check the Discussion box, and click Screen Options again to close it. After you've done that, there should be a new box under the post editor that will allow you to turn comments and pingbacks/trackbacks on or off on a per post basis.

You will have to do the same thing for Pages on the Add New Page or editing Page screen.

If that's not what you were talking about, let me know and I'll see if I or someone else can figure it out.

Thank you for your response. I didn't notice that the discussion box just was hidden.

why hiding? it could be very useful... some posts/pages only for information and no comments needed there...

Oddly, the majority of people don't use it. And those who do sort out how to turn it on.
