   WordPress needs a built in photo gallery, adding gallery plugins can be a bit confusing for regular users. It is also hard to find a good and flexible gallery so it forces us to try them all.

   I agree with the original post I wish WordPress had a more robust media gallery. While WP 2.5 is a good start I would like to see some key features that basic gallery scripts have in WP.

   While there are several very good plug-ins out there... I am afraid some of these might become discontinued over time as WordPress upgrades move at a whirl wind pace (the WP developers are doing a great job).
