fosterkane concept is ability in google earth to create a "google alert"* for placemark** description or address. (
* A "google alert" is an existing service which scans the internet for a user created search and notifies the user of new search results.
**A placemark is the icon placed by the user on a google earth map location
When alert is triggered the placemark would change color or blink or otherwise show active status. Clicking placemark would open google alert.
This would allow a new visualization tool for geo data
Useful options:
Option to show time sequence of alerts between various placemarks, useful for animal tracking, temperature/water level/changes search terms use( i.e. disease tracking) etc.
Option to copy data from alert into placemark file
