Advanced Text Widget

We have this Text/html widget by default. That's very usefull to create some static content for the Template. But for people they haven't a know-how about html Tags (for example to write bold or change color, what ever) its hard to wrok with this simple widget.

Why shouldn't support this widget a right editor like the one in the wordpress post and page creating tool? This would be easier for not-programmer to make some short text they can edit how they want.

(i'm sorry for my horrible english)

I would also definitely love to see an advanced text widget. For people who often use WP as a CMS, this function would come in quite handy for front-end users who want to add simple elements like images or create a link to a pdf file using the wyswyg editor.

Yes, that would be very comfortable, as you don't have to load separate HTML editor, to insert a couple of lines into widget. Even when you know HTML there is no fun typing those bold and colors tags...

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add this functionality. I'm constantly amazed at how sophisticated a platform that WordPress is, so I was quite surprised to find that this wasn't already a core feature. It seems rather intuitive to have a visual editor for the sidebar.

As a sidenote, someone has created something to do this already, but its compatibility ends at WordPress 2.3.X. (http://www.findableblogs.com/plugins/wysiwyg-text-widget/).
