Add "Edit Post" link to page displayed after publishing a new post

    When the Save button is pressed a new write post page is displayed with a link for viewing last published post. How about an additional link for editing that post? I always like to apply some small changes to text or picture alignments after viewing my post on my blog and I must go back to dashboard or manage section and click on my last post title to do that (annoying additional clicks!).

    theme functionality (the default theme has a link which says "edit this entry", which is displayed if you are allowed to edit)

    Not theme functionality - this is in the admin panel after writing a post. Once you view the post in a new window and spot the inevitable typo, you have to click through to Manage Posts and then find the post you just published. It's mostly annoying when you have a bunch of future posts queued up.

    Always gets me as well, though after two years I'm used to it by now.

    Sounds like you need to use the preview button a little more on future posts to make sure the typos are not their before they are published.

    You can add the following tag nears of singlepost.php:

    <?php edit_post_link('edit', '', ''); ?>
