well you should exclude subnets not just a few ip numbers. our school has its own network and those ip numbers never change.

And this could be of use when you are just starting out with a project so you dont give away to much info on the net.

And i know that its easy to spoof ip numbers but its just the point of not giving your concept away in a second.

Just set Post Passwords. Otherwise, it's too easy to spoof an IP address.

Oh, and it's categories, not category's.

Why don't you just create a seperate site for the schoolstuff?

You know, Ip's change all the time =\ (and what if you wanna view some of the school stuff from somewhere else, without having to log in to your account? like if you're at a friends or the library, where you should be careful logging on to important accounts.. as of keylogging and such)

how about a module that checks ip numbers to see if you have access to a category

for me this is useable because the portfolio bit should be viewable for school only and not always for outsiders.
Now i have to keep in mind wich projects i can publish on the net
