Hi Ipstenu,
Yeap, you are right. I'm talking about post statuses like published or draft. Sometimes it's really necessary. I had some projects where customers asked to add additional statuses. I tried to emulate an easy way to add new statuses in my plugin - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/mp-former/. You can download and see what I'm talking about.

 Regards,

You can create custom post TYPES and formats, but the STATUSES you mean like 'published' and 'draft' and 'private'? No, not really.

What sort of things are you thinking of adding?

Hi anybody,
I found that there is a big problem with custom post statuses. So there is a really good way to register new statuses but I don't find a way how to include these statuses to Publish metabox on edit post page. The reason is that the list of statuses is hardcoded and there is no possibility to add new.
Ofcourse there are some tricky ways to solve this problem but it would be nice to add an action for this.
