Ability to automatically send the backup file to a remote server or Dropbox or S3 would be a useful addition.

A good idea is to make incremental backup to save resources. If possible and could work similarly to "time machine" (OSX) or mozzy.com service that allows you to restore from any date

This is a great idea unless you have a large site. My WP files are over 60MB and I have had to learn how to do backups via the command line since phpMyAdmin and the WP DB backup plugin all time out

Despite this, I consider it important to have an automatic and reliable backup of the database and documents uploaded.

Database backup is already built in and automated. It emails me a backup every morning of the tables I've chosen.

The WP files shouldn't change that often, except when you upgrade. Just FTP a copy to your local drive after an upgrade and you should be good until the next one.

I want to make Wordpress automatically backup the database and my files and e-mail me or leave them in a folder of my hosting, so you can easily restore my blog.
