"They do sell WordPress - It's at WordPress.com and you can be hosted there and pay to have a personalized domain."

Hi, sorry. I am very new to WordPress and this whole hosting thing. Regarding the quote above, I searched on Google and this was one of the first results so I'm going to ask my question here: If I sign up on WordPress.com, do they also setup everything? I don't know how to host a site (my computer skills are similar to that of a five year old) and would like to just register a domain name and then have everything setup for me. I know how to buy a domain name (that's as far as I go regarding having my own site with my own chosen name) but I don't know how to set it up so it's ready for viewing online, if you know what I mean. Basically, a website that's already "done" but without the content (which will be added by me).

Thanks for any info.

They do sell WordPress - It's at WordPress.com and you can be hosted there and pay to have a personalized domain.

But none of this is an idea.

WordPress.org (this domain) requires an account and password ONLY if you want to post in the forums and edit the codex.

WordPress.com (the place you can get hosting) requires an account and password for the obvious reasons ;)

Your own BLOG needs a password and account. Again, obvious.

Now. All three of things are entirely separate and unconnected, so each one needs it's own password.

You can change your blog password by going to yourdomain.com/wp-admin/ and going to Users -> My Profile

You can change wordpress.org's password at http://wordpress.org/extend/ideas/profile/YOURID/edit

Well,,,I thought I had just a little knowledge regarding computers, but I see that either I don't have this intelegence OR you guys just want to make it VERY difficult to "Change Passwords."
Plus: Why are there so many different areas that require Different User Names and (the same) with Passwords.
Plus: Why do you send out (Your Idea) of a good password that is almost impossible to remember.
Why not make it simple so everyone can choose their own passwords "right from the beginning?"
Someone once told me that Word Press is simple and easy to use,,,
well I guess I'm just a little to slow to pick up on all your explinations regarding "How to change Passwords!"
Frankly, I think is a "NIGHTMARE!"
I would not mind paying a company (like yours) so I could do the things I want to do on my Web Site.
If you guys ever get around to charging for YOUR SERVICE,
I'm sure you will be OUT OF BUSINESS within 24 hours.
