umm... I can't find what you're talking about with 'shows the total subscribers' but will keep looking.

It's a pity it doesn't exist as it was really cool functionality on blogger. I can live in hope that someone will create it :)

Jetpack's perfect for single site.

Multisite you generally want to grown your own form, and it's a beast of an entirely different color. Look for Members plugins.

It's still plugin territory. Jetpack does this somewhat (shows the total subscribers) but not in a thumbnail form. Probably because not everyone wants their follow list to be public.

I run multi-sites and I have one that is a private blog that I want to invite people to so they can view it but not let others see it. Is that similar to what you were able to do?

If not, I'll keep looking :)

I see that this was previously requested in 2008 (http://wordpress.org/extend/ideas/topic/widget-to-display-your-followers#post-6820) but I don't think it exists yet and the topic was closed to comment on.

Is this something that could be looked into? I'm looking for something very similar to Blogger where a group of thumbnail images show on the right of the blog of all people who have subscribed to the blog.

I'm sorry if I'm duplicating here (new to the forums and tried my best to find the answer before I submitted).
