1.Installation -Unzip the folder gt-unique-header-image -Upload to your wp-content/plugins directory -Go to admin wodpress admin panel->Plugins->"Gt Unique Header Image" and activate it. -If you are using wordpress 2.5 or heigher,please turn off revisions to do that put this code at the top of your wp-config.php

That's all you are done

2.Go to Options->"GT Unique header Image" put their the url of the default header image to be used and also the url of the home page header(It will be used on categories,archives and other pages too).

2.Go to post new/edit window and you will see the screen having something below the post title saying Gt Unique header Upload,Browse the image 3.save/publish the post and visit the edit screen ,you will see the thumbnail of the image associated with the post.
