1. Install and activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
2. Update the settings and design of your The Wordpress Bar by going to Settings>The Wordpress Bar.

To make sure the The Wordpress Bar is working, create and publish a post with an external link. View that post and click on the external link. You should now be viewing the link with the The Wordpress Bar along the top.
