WordTwit is a plugin that uses the Twitter API to automatically push a published post to your Twitter account as a tweet.

You can install WordTwit directly from the WordPress Plugins -> Add New section in the admin.

WordPress Mu 2.8.5+

WordTwit works with newer versions of WordPress Multisite. To enable WordTwit on WordPress Multisite, activate the plugin as a site-wide plugin. Note that Twitter API rate restrictions will apply (100 per hour), and that most large WordPress Multisite sites will require whitelisting on Twitter.
