WordSpinner is a freely available and distributable (GPL) plugin for Wordpress to help avoid duplicate content penalties from Google. This can be abused (if you put a LOT of work into rewriting someone else's article...), but I wrote it so that you can enable it for things like summary texts or put some spin words in the first paragraph of a post and a 'read more' link underneath, and you won't get penalised for having the first paragraph the same on your front page as your item page.

RECENT UPDATE: Now includes a text widget to show spinning text in sidebars as many times as you want! WARNING: PLEASE COPY ALL CONTENT FROM TEXT OR SPINNING WIDGETS INTO A TEXT FILE BEFORE UPDATING TO 1.4, YOU MAY NEED TO RE-CREATE THEM!!!
