Extract the zip file and just drop the contents in the wp-content/plugins/ directory of your WordPress installation and then activate the Plugin from Plugins page. You should see a new widget called “WordCamp NYC Badge” in the widgets pages, which you can drag and drop in the sidebar of your theme.
