This plugin was developed primarily for the WordPress Muti-User edition and now works with Buddypress, however it works on the regular single domain version as well. It combats spam bots from flooding you with sign-ups and blog creations and it keeps bots from brute- force attacking your site with the admin username by forcing a visual confirmation CAPTCHA in order to login. Most CAPTCHA systems for WordPress gives you a very templated layout and read-out, many that can be programmed into a bot to bypass. With Super CAPTCHA, you can personalize and control the very way the CAPTCHA is rendered so every site that displays the CAPTCHA will be diffrent, making it so each bot has to be pre-configured, just for your site, in order to achieve a successful attack making Super CAPTCHA the MOST SECURE free anti-spam system available for WordPress.

UPCOMMING FEATURES IN 2.2.0:

• Auto-banning IP's that repeatively fail the CAPTCHA test
• Auto-blocking checks for browsers with user-agents that are "bot-like" (ie. user agents matching key-words such as bot, crawler, spider, curl, etc. Do we really want "Googlebot" creating an account? lol)
• Auto-banning $_POST methods that your forms did not refer directly (this should block nearly 90% of bot registrations before ever seeing the form)

SERVER REQUIREMENTS:

• PHP -- 4.3.0 or greater, PHP5 compatible
• GD support in PHP. FreeType required for TTF fonts (Can be configured in version 2.0). Version 2.0.33 required for gif output. GD is bundled with PHP since version 4.3
• Session Support
• Tested on CURRENT latest versions (and beta versions) of WordPress MU and WordPress 2.8 Beta.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If after you activate this plugin, you are unable to login to your Administration Panel, simply RENAME the plugin's folder to allow for access. I do not yet certify that this release is "stable" however it is operational on my own systems.
