How do I get the SEO tools to display on my site?

Any tool can appear on any page you like. After activation of the plug-in, simply look up the shortcode on the SEO Tools admin screen. Then paste the corresponding shortcode into any page or post, using the HTML tab from the edit screen, and the tool will display.

Can I remove any links or references to SEO Automatic from the WordPress Admin?

Not in the fre version of the plugin, no, but there will soon be a branded white label option available.

Error occuring on auto upgrade.

When upgrading from 3.1.7 or lower to 3.1.8 or higher, if you receive an error starting with "Warning(fopen)….." this does not mean the upgrade failed or there is a problem. A change has been made in the plugin so the add-on seo review tool does not have to be activated separately. On some sites, a warning is shown only during the update process. No failure or "breaking" is happening when this error shows, the plugin has updated correctly to run more efficiently.
