currently everything is assumed to be in pounds, but that only affects the calorie calculation. weight logging and trends shouldn't care

soon i'm going to add a setting so that it will display with the chosen unit and do calorie calculations correctly for LB, KG, or ST

i think thats a good, simple start to the widget. i'll try and include it in the upcoming version.

For the widget...could we just have the text that is generated below the chart? That would be great and goad me on.

i've been thinking about a public-facing widget, but since this has been low on my priority list, have not been able to alocate time to implement it.

your ideas sound good, but i do think that they go beyond the scope of this plugin. i think it would be an interesting idea to write a seperate plugin that does what you mention, while leveraging the data collected by this plugin.

feel free to email me at keith [dot] thornhill [at] gmail [dot] com to discuss any ideas you may have towards the development of such a plugin.

Renaming the folder did the trick. Thanks for your help. Does this plugin have any sidebar widgets, or some kind of public display feature?

Ultimately I am trying to create a place where users can enter their weights and have a kind of weigh off. I'd like for them to be able to get on the site and view a chart comparing everyone, or simply showing the biggest losers.

I would be happy to donate to have this kind of functionality with this plugin.

Thanks for your attention

1. i'm not sure about "anyone", since it requires access to the dashboard, but the plugin is user-aware. both myself and my girlfriend log our weights separately using a single installation.

2. currently the plugin folder needs to be called "hackersdiet". otherwise the activation code isn't run. i haven't checked yet that the zip created by this repository follows that. i'll update if needed. i haven't looked into a way to not require this yet.

2 things,

1. Can anyone who registers on my WP site monitor their weight (If yes, then EXCELLENT!, if not, can this functionality be added?)

2. I've installed the files in my plugin folder, activated the plugin, but when I click on the Hackers Diet button in the Dashboard, I get the following error:

Table 'rgvfat_wrdp1.wp_hackdiet_settings' doesn't exist

Help! :)
