It seems to work OK for me, but I have noticed one thing. It 'pollutes' trackbacks sent to other blogs. See the trackback from me here for example. Perhaps putting HTML comment markers inside the script tags to help hide that kind of thing? I know I can do it, but it'd be nice if it didn't leak this by default.

Thanks.

I had no problems until the latest update... I have decided to just not run this plugin anymore... Good idea, but it's just too clunky.

I should add that Share This doesn't show up in my plugins and I do not know if this is how things should appear or not. The installation docs contain no information on this.

I did not have Share This installed already. I installed Gregarious and activated it and saved a test post. No Share This icon. Share This doesn't show up in the list of plugins. What have I done wrong?

I've checked and found that the plugin download files on the author's site and on WordPress are identical--in case anyone else wastes time on that.

As a new WP user I am just amazed at how much prior knowledge is assumed and how little clear and intelligible documentation is available. Take this plugin. WHAT IS A POST BADGE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD? I use delicious and I use Furl. I do not want to put a load of ugly icons on my blog. This looks like a useful tool, but the installation docs could do with some links to a wiki that explained all the options.

This is not the first time I've had this experience with a WP plugin.

Finally, I got this working. I downloaded the file from wordpress and it worked, when I downloaded it from the authors site, it did not work. Although, they appear to be downloading from the same location. Possibly when I uploaded it a file was not uploaded correctly. I tested it on an article and it shows. The article is kitty repairman on http://www.catyack.com http://catyack.com/wordpress/2007/05/01/kitty-repairman/

Your plugin seems to be good. But "it doesn't seem to work".

When I activated it for the first time, I got 2 warnings. One of them was about unable to open stream (admin.php i guess).

It however got activated. I deactivated and activated again. And this time I did not get any warning. Strange.

I then went to the Options page and activated different modules, clicked on the "Save Options" button.

But no buttons appear on my posts, on my blog etc.

What could be the problem?

I installed it without the share-this plugin and it worked. Once I changed settings and saved the page reloaded blankly. the footer was there, but the options were gone. I've uninstalled it, but now I have a button at the bottom of my admin section that only displays in IE about browsehappy.com Was that something your plugin added, and if so how can I remove it?
