Alright, here's the scoop. To use a gallery that you've created, put the following into the "page" or "post": [gallery=id]

Here's the catch. You need to substitute "id" with the number of the id of the gallery you want to display, such as "1" for gallery 1. So that means that to display a gallery with the id of "1", you would put the following in your "page" or "post": [gallery=1].

This is obviously different from how some of the template "tags" work, where "id" would mean that it was going to sort by id. As far as I know you can't have Wordpress automatically find and display all galleries. You have to manually put each one in a "page" or "post", unless you were to write your own function to do so.

I'll upgrade my rating somewhat. The gallery itself works very well.

I'd give this more than the one star I rated it if I understood how to use it!

I think I fixed my problem, and the "~" on my url was the issue.

Not sure if this was the best solution but... what I did was to substitute

Hello,

I tried again with the latest 0.51 and still get the same bug from previous post.

Any ideas? Thanks!

I'm sorry if this is super easy for you guys, but I don't quite follow the instructions about using the "tags" eg, [album=id,extend]

Does this just get typed into the code of a new page created in word press? Could you please show me an example with real data in it, eg.

[album=3, extend] - is this correct? When i type this into the code part of the page, it shows up as text on the page, rather than commanding the gallery to display.

Thank you so much, the gallery looks fantastic on other sites, can't wait to get it on mine!
