I followed and activated the required plugins, then created the following: $latex x=y$ and got this error:

Warning: extract() [function.extract]: First argument should be an array in
/usr/share/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/wp-latex.php on line 43

Formula does not parse: x=y

I uninstalled, then reinstalled. Same error.

I tested my LaTeX installation with the following:

\documentclass{article}
\begin{document}
$x=y$
\end{document}

Then ran dvipng on the output. Everything worked with this test. Finally, I'm using TeXLive under the Debian Testing distribution.

Any help will be appreciated!

Thanks,
Dave
